Trip to Sydney - 1st day

So, after attending my bro's convo in Perth, we headed to Sydney on 14th of Sept. It's was an 4 days 3 nights trip. We bought the air ticket from perth. We flew there by budget airline which is Virgin Blue. The budget airline seat, is very uncomfortable but heck, it's cheaper than those normal airline. So no choice. Our flight was at 12.55am of 14th sept which is early morning of Sun. The flight took bout 4 hours but due to d time zone, we arrived in Sydney domestic airport at 6.55am i guess. So we took a train to Museum station and walked to our hotel/apartment. Museum Station

Wow!!! The apartment is 5-star!!! So well maintained and so nice!!!! You have everything you need. And it makes you feel at home. As our flight is a midnite flight, we didn't manage to slp well. So, we dozed off in d apartment around 7sth and woke up around 10 sth 11am.

Then, we headed to Sydney Fish Market which is only open on Sundays i guess. They have really fresh and big seafood over there. Really nice!!! There's lobsters, crabs, mussels and many other seafood there. We took our lunch there, had seafood platter and mussels.

After that, we went back to Paddy Market, where we took d tram from to Fish Market. We went into the mall there for awhile.Paddy's Market

There's nth much to buy so we went to take another train to Circular Quay where we can see the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. It was superb nice!!! Can you imagine the whole building's roof is made from tiles?? It's amazing!!!

Later, we went to look for a chinese restaurant that uncle don recommended but didn't manage to find it. So at last we jz simply had our dinner at a shop in China Town. The food was alright. Right after that, we headed back to our apartment and i fell into deep sleep. I was really exhausted that day. We walked alot and i didn't have enough slp. We have to wake up at 6 sth the next day as we'r joining local tours.

So... finally.. after studying for 4 years... he finally graduated in bachelor of civil engineering.. we went over to perth on 6th of Sept to attend my bro's convo which is on 11th.. it's something i never been thru.. i dunno how excited he is.. but my parents are excited.. their baby son.. finally graduated.. lol. n d fees are heavy burden.. n d burden finally is done. I remember my dad very excited n funny.

Before taking any photos, he kept asking me, ' My hair messy not?' of course, in a joking manner. I dun think he's so vain. lol.

Something special bout his convo is their convo gown, the students have to rent by themselves n if you wanna rent d hat as well, it's extra $21!! what's d point rite? since everyone else wasn't wearing. Oh ya, another special thing is his convo is at night. I was surprised when i got to know this cuz in M'sia, our convos are all in d morning.

D whole convo thingy was boring!!! I mean, i'm not involved rite, i'm not the students who'r graduating, of course i find it boring!!! But i love the hall. It's call Winthrop hall if i'm not mistaken. I alwiz remember it as sth like the harry potter's hall. haha. His uni is like those that we see in d tv series or movies, d classic type. D buildings are nice since it's ancient type. lol. We took some photograph around the uni and there's this photograph session by professional photographer. After that, the uni provided some light refreshment such as wines, fruits and sandwiches outside the hall. But when we went out, it was all gone. Wow!!! i guess those ppl must be very hungry as it was like 10pm. I was starving as well. So, my bro went to took some pics with his frenz then we headed home for Late Dinner at 11pm.

Belated Birthday for myself..

Today, pei chze ask me go Dataran Pahlawan, she say wanna go yamcha at oldtown. So i jz agreed. Then, when we reached, Zach and Kane was there d. Then, after awhile, Ching Yang, Teng Siang, Desmond, Wee Kiat and Alex came. Suddenly, the waitress took out a cake. I was Surprised!!! I didn't know she was planning to celebrate my b'day. Although it's belated, but i'm happy!!! My best friend make an effort for my b'day!!! Thanks alot Chze!!! and Zach also, for d cake. And the rest for coming!!!

The guys!! Always playing PSP. 5 of them who came later, 4 of them have a PSP in hand. They'r like kids playing game. lol.

After MANY days of bugging I wanna go eat McDonald breakfast, dear finally felt guilty and woke me up before dawn to go get breakfast. He called me around 6 sth before the sky turn bright. We both washed up and headed to the McD breakfast.

After that, both of us have a normal wednesday that we always have. As per usual, classes starts at 1pm, ended at 6pm. Tired tired tired! Lotsa assignment to rush before i leave for Perth on 7th Sept for my bro's convo. I'll be back there for 2 weeks. Gosh, i wonder what i'm gonna do there.

My sweet lovely b'day...

After 1 week break, i came back to cyber on monday morning since my mom insist me to come back on monday cuz my parents wanna buy me dinner at Portuguese settlement. Nice dinner!!! Before that, on saturday, my parents throw a small birthday party for me with my families (include my grandparents, uncles and aunties, cousins). Thanks daddy and mummy!!! Love you guys. This is what we had for my bday. It looks simple but it takes whole day effort to prepare it. The nasi lemak looks like bought from somewhere but it's wrapped by me and my aunts.This cake is specially baked by my dearest mummy. She's very good in baking.

Choc cheese cake according to her. She told me how she baked it but i can't recall it. It was a convocation day for MMU, so we have a non-class day and IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!! MMU is so nice. Give me holiday on my birthday. I spent my lunch with my dear at Pizza Hut at Equine Park Jusco as i didn't want to go too far. Though is not something very expensive meal, but i had it with my darling. So it's sweet. lol. Then i got a birthday pizza!!! While we were ordering, i saw this small part on the menu that pizza hut give out free birthday pizza to birthday gal or boy. I showed the waiter my IC to prove that it's my b'day.

Then after makan, i went walking around in Jusco. Actually it's more like walking around at the shops. I went into Sasa, wanted to buy concealer as i got some pimples and dark circles. Wow!!! I ended up buying concealer, mascara, blusher, brown eye liner, glitter black eye liner which can make smokey eyes and curler. Spent like alot in that shop. I jz feel like pampering myself on that day. lol.

Dinner!!! Went to Paddington house of Pancakes at the Curve for dinner!!! I love the environment there, especially the part where they have all those fancy restaurant. When we got into the shop, i look at the menu, didn't know what to order. I'm a first timer there. After awhile, browsing through the whole menu, then i simply decided to order some fish meal. Darl ordered Crispy Chicken Burger i guess. Then, we had this big pancake for dessert.

After dinner, we went to walk around the place. It feels so nice. lol. I forgotten to take pics of that place. or else i would surely post it. Romantic walk. As we were walking, darling say it's my birthday and he insist on buying me a cake. At least 1 slice. We were both very very full as we had alot for our dinner. So we went to a shop that we saw it was selling cakes.

After i came home, my hsemates surprised me with Secret Recipe's cake. Thanks so much u guys. I didn't managed to take any pics on my cake. But i really appreciate it.

Darling, thanks so much for everything. You bring me happiness that cannot be exchange with money. You gave me a wonderful birthday!!! Love ya lots.

two wonderful days...

I spent 2 wonderful days around malaccca with aaron. Thanks so much for making it happened my dear. He came down to mlk on thursday morning even thou he was sick(been vomiting and having fever but refused to let me know). It's sweet but heartache-ing. I brought him to eat chicken rice ball. Lol. I remember harry asking me if that's fish ball. hehe. It was a rainy day. So we got no other places to go other than shopping malls. Went to Dataran Pahlawan to walk around since he says the last time he came mlk it's not ready yet. After walking around for awhile, nth to do, we went to take those funky pics. lol. It was nice anyway thou a bit childish. Malacca is definitely a place to eat eat and eat. After shopping, we went to eat Pork Satay. I guess not many places have this. I don't know why it's so famous in mlk but i still prefer chicken. lol. Then, we went to Menara Taming Sari. The sky was clearer as the rain stopped so we got quite nice view of Malacca the Historical City.

After that, came back home, took a short nap as we were both tired, especially aaron who only slept for 2 hours d nite before. He was suppose to go back at 7pm by bus but surprised!!! his hsemate came down mlk as well. N they'r goin back the next day with another mlk hsemate. A great news for me!!! So while we were napping, his hsemate called n say go eat satay celup. So we woke up n went to eat eat n eat again. My day ended after the satay celup session. But his, i don't know. Maybe more interesting.

The next day, woke up at 11.40 when my mom nearly break the door. lol. jz exaggerating. She knocked loudly n woke me up. So i got ready, n started another day with my dear. Went to get him from his fren's place in bukit beruang. Then we went to eat cendol at Donald & Lily's. I've been eating there for years but didn't bother to know the name until his hsemate was saying malaccan dunno anything. lol. After that, went to spend some time in my aunt's place then we managed to catch a movie. I'm so happy i got to watch The Mummy. I wanted to watch that since before the break. Watched at the new gsc at dataran which i never tried. It was a nice experience. The movie ended at 5 sth then we went to walk around Again in dataran to wait for his hsemate whom were watching The Dark Knight. After that, we went for food hunting again. See, EAT, EAT & EAT! At first, we plan to eat the malacca famous fried oyster at bunga raya. Unfortunately, maybe it was still too early as it's only 6.30pm, the stall was not open. So, we went to eat 'char siew fan'. It was very delicious! i don't know maybe i was too hungry so i find it very nice. Then, today is the Olympic's opening ceremony, we went to Bamboo hut to watch the whole big event. But it was stilll early when we reached. So, me and aaron walk all the way from bamboo hut to jonker's street. It was jz a stroll, jz the two of us spending time together. I didn't wanna buy anything, jz wanna walk with him. How sweet is that? Bla bla n bla.. Went back to bamboo hut to watch the ceremony as it was nearly 8pm. It was magnificent. Especially their fireworks and all. It was very grand. I only managed to watch til the part where they start introducing the country and all. Then, it was getting late already. Aaron was worried bout me driving back home alone. So, i got to leave them there and be a good girl, come home early. Came home, shower then watch the ceremony again. I got to watch the part where they light the fire. It was nice.. Then.... i'm stuck in front of d laptop now, blogging bout my beautiful days with my dear...

updates updates updates.. lol.

It's been exactly 1 month since i last updated my blog. Well, alot happened in 1 month n i'm too lazy to elaborate too much. Probably i shall let the pics do the talking. Oh wait, i shall introduce someone 1st. That guy in the pic, it's my dearest bf. His name is Aaron Lim Yee Ronn in case some ppl wanna know. We got together like a month ago. N things have been quite interesting since then. He's quite an egoistic guy which kinda sweet la. Ermm, i shall not start talking bout him or else i won't stop.

Okay, classes starts since 16th June. All my classes are boring this sem. Lecturers sucks, subject hard, really need to put more effort in studies this sem. I shall not talk bout my boring studies. There was this weekend that is really busy. Went to midvalley for shopping, went to alamanda for movie, went to cheras selatan jusco for movie. Crazy rite? At 1st our plan was midvalley. Wanna go there for movie. Wanted to watch made of honour. When we reached there, the queue was toooooo long. So we decided to watch at alamanda at nite. So we went walking around and had Chillies for lunch. I'm not sure if i spell it correctly. The food was kinda good but TGI is better. lol. Then went back rest, went to alamanda for movie. We wanted to watch made of honour but too bad, it's not screen there. So we watch Get Smart. Quite a nice movie thou. Then the next day, went to cheras selatan jusco to watch Made of Honour. Finally get to watch!!! Yay!! Very touching movie!!! Nice nice nice!!! Had pizza hut after the movie. And the pizza looks like a heart shape. lol.

Then, the other weekend, i came back mlk. Had barbaque at home!!! hmmm.. been busy for the whole weekend. Or maybe the weekend was short. i don't really feel like i came home and spend time home.

Bangkok trip..

Ehem ehem, i shall finally start talking about my bangkok trip. Went to bangkok with my parents, my dad 3 other golfers' fren + their family aka my neighbour. haha. it's not that complicated actually. My parents frenz! So i went there on 25th of may, came back on 28th of may. First day, arrived there around 1pm maybe. On the way to the hotel, we stopped by for lunch. D noodle is so nice!!! oh, i added alot of chilli powder as i tot it was okay. then when i start eating, it's burning hot!!! too spicy! but still i managed to finished it. Went to the hotel, Princeton Park Suites, check-in, change then went out d. The four golfers went to golf in 1 cab, then the women and kids went to Chatuchak market. Wow!!! that market is freaking big and HOT!!!! it's like petaling street but it's 3 or 4 times bigger? and 10 times hotter. Bought some stuff from there althou it's hot. The stuff are cheap there. jz like PS boutique. lol. Hang around there for like 4 hours? n i'm so sick of it d after 1 hour, keep looking at my watch, hoping it's 6pm. The taxi suppose to fetch us at 6 but he came late. We waited by the roadside like those pendatang asing in m'sia. Then, suddenly, i saw elephant passing. Gosh, elephant in the middle of the city. Scary!!
Second day, men went golf, women went shopping, kids went to Dreamworld!!! A theme park like genting but the weather there is way too hot. They have lots of interesting rides there. Way better than genting. They made it sth like disneyland as well. They have giant hse, cinderella coach, shoes hse and so on. Took lotsa pics with those. Then, the most important part!!! We won alot of soft toys!!! It's more like brandon won it la. But jz 40 baht each, which is around RM4 each. so cheap!!! After that, the taxi driver took us to meet up with our parents for dinner. The journey to the dinner place was terrible. We thought the driver wanna kidnap us or something. The road was like very dusty, by the road side alot of factory, some abondon, some still functioning. It's a long long way there. Took us almost 1 hour to finally reach. The food was good. We ate by the lake side. Very nice.

Third day, we went to the floating market and some temple la. The market was interesting. I mean it's funny to see ppl selling stuff at the river or shud i say drain side. lol. I guess it wasn't the original floating market. It's a new floating market specially made for tourists. But somehow, it's a great experience. At nite, we went to Baiyoke Sky hotel to eat chinese buffet. The food was GOOD!!! Then, after eating, we went up to the rotating tower. The view there was awesome. The roads, WOW!!! so nice!!! i nv tot bangkok is such a nice city. Then, we went to walk around at something like a nite market. Alvin bought some grasshopper to eat. Eww!!! Disgusting!!!! After that, we took tut-tut back to the hotel. That's the craziest thing i ever sat on. We took 3 tut-tut for 7 persons. The 3 drivers like racing with each other and we feel that the whole bike is gonna overturn. lol. but it was real fun!!!

Last day, woke up quite early, went to 'lorong' beside our hotel for some food. They have a market there. Then, we went to Robinson, a shopping like Parkson. Bought some cheap real branded stuff there. Then, we rush to the airport as we all assume that our departure time is 3.45pm, so we have to be there before 1.45pm. When we reached the airport, we check the departure time, it's 5.45pm instead of 3.45pm. My dad remember it wrongly. So, no choice, we hang around in the airport til it's time to go home.
